Tri-State Christian Youth Camp (TCYC) has been established to provide young people with a spiritual atmosphere in which each camper can grow in his or her spiritual, mental, social and physical development through Bible study and wholesome activities.
TCYC is supported by Christian friends in Illinois, Iowa and Missouri. The board of directors is a dedicated group of Christian individuals who have selected a staff on the basis of Christian character, maturity, dedication to God and experience working with young people. It is the belief of the board of directors that not only will each camper grow as a result of attending camp, but also that the cause of camp will benefit both now and in the future in the area served by the camp.
BIBLE LESSONS One of the greatest things you will enjoy about TCYC is the fellowship of spending a week with others in an enhanced spiritual atmosphere. Bible classes provide the focus for the growth we hope you experience at camp and help us establish our theme for the week. Chapel services are held each evening and devotional times help us begin and end each day.
ARTS & CRAFTS Campers have the opportunity to enjoy arts and crafts programs at TCYC. You can learn a new craft or indulge your artistic talent, while making a gift to take back home.
TALENT NIGHT Among the traditions at TCYC is the time-honored Talent Night, normally scheduled for Thursday evening after chapel. Plan to impress your friends and the staff with your special skills and talents.
EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES Campers will have the opportunity to participate in several extra-curricular activities throughout the week, including: archery, swimming and volleyball. There is also a game room area on the campus and each day's schedule include a group game or activity.
